Stratford's longest-running festival celebrates music, speech, drama and dance, with four weeks of exciting competition for participants of all ages. After a preliminary week of performances by school choirs and bands (April 9 to 13) we will officially launch our 2012 festival on April 16 with an Evening of Ensembles, representing a cross-section of music disciplines, from vocal to instrumental. And we'll finish with Stars of the Festival on May 7, reprising award-winning performances from the competition, and introducing the team that will represent our festival at the OMFA Provincial Finals. In between, we'll host some 100 sessions of music, drama and dance competitions at eight venues throughout Stratford. Check our schedule for details.
Registration
On-line registration for music, speech and drama is now closed. If you missed this deadline and would still like to take part in the festival, please call the office at 519-273-3011. Dance entries are due January 31.
New category at OMFA Provincials
Music Theatre is now divided into the following age groups:
11-12 Elementary; 13-14 Junior;
15-16 Intermediate; 17-18 Senior; 19-28 Advanced
